Engine:
V8 outboard engine, 350 horse power (261 kW) from 5 liters (capacity 4952 cc), 32 valves, 60 degrees with VTEC technology that is characteristic of all top Honda engines, i.e. variable lift and timing control system.
A well-established feature of Honda outboards, ECOmo mode is a fuel management system that optimizes fuel consumption. The electronic control unit, when cruising at a constant speed, automatically adjusts the air-fuel mixture according to speed and load, allowing gasoline use to be reduced when possible. An important role is also played by the O2 sensor, which optimizes gasification according to the amount of residual oxygen detected in the exhaust gases.
Auto-trim function: just press twice to automatically tilt the entire engine without the need for a long press. In combination, Tilt Limit comes into play with which the owner can select the maximum tilt angle and thus avoid engine damage during tie-down operations. Simply push the button and the motor will stop at the preset position.
